Hi! We’re Jeff and Emily Owens.

I always a believed there was a way to make my home beautiful- even if it wasn’t the dream house. Jeff likes to work with his and make my dreams come true.. as long as we stick to the budget (which is sometimes $0).

We’ve bought, renovated, lived in, and sold two homes and we are in the middle of slowly renovating and living in the next, now. Our projects have ranged from adding personality to a builder grade home to a total gut and restoration of an 1880s old charmer. Currently, we’re working on tackling an aggressively Roman-detailed 1970s home in the suburbs.

By buying the worst house on the block and improving it through DIY and shrew design choices, we have moved up to suit the needs of our growing family.
